   City of Windsor Minimize

Welcome to the City of Windsor A great small town located near Sedalia, Whiteman Air Force Base, and Truman Lake. Our town is made up of close to 3000 residents in both Henry and Pettis County. Windsor has great schools, a beautiful park with a lake, and the Katy Trail State Park. The Amish are a big influence of what makes Windsor so special. They have a grocery store and a bulk produce auction just outside city limits.  Windsor is a wonderful place to visit, relax, shop, recreate or simply find yourself. Many have found that Windsor is just too charming to leave.

The City of Windsor is conveniently at the crossroads of State Highway 2 & 52.

   Notification Minimize

Este informe contiene información muy importante sobre su aqua potable.  Tradùzcalo o hable con alguien que lo entienda bien.

We are required to monitor your drinking water on a regular basis.  Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets health standards.  During a recent compliance period, we did not monitor or test as required and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during that time.

What should I do?

There is nothing you need to do at this time.

The table below lists the monitoring we did not conduct, how often we are supposed to sample and how many samples we are supposed to take, how many samples we took and when the samples should have been taken.

Lead & Copper Rule

10 per year

September 30, 2018

What happened?  What is being done?  (Describe corrective action.)

In July of 2018 Lead and Copper samples were taken from 10 (ten) different residences in Windsor.  These samples were taken to Henry County Health Department, which is a courier used to transport samples to the DNR Laboratory.  We have recently been notified the laboratory rejected the samples because they were not received in a timely manner.  Because of this we are notifying the public that the yearly required testing was not performed.  In the future we will verify with the DNR Laboratory that the samples that were collected and sent are received and that no issues are present that would prevent testing.
